Integrative Psychology

Integrative Psychology Practice Wassenaar

Blockages and trauma from the past cause pain and suffering. These two elements function as obstacles to approach the real root of a psychological wound, in these cases integrative psychology opens new and creative paths to get to the core of conflicts and struggles.

Movement, art, meditation, archetypal symbology, dream analysis, the description of the psyche taken from the wisdom of kabbalah, are some of the tools that I integrate when working with a client. The many studies I followed on my journey as a therapist have resulted in a therapy practice for Integrative Psychology in Wassenaar, certified according to the Dutch Wkkgz quality standards.

The goal of Integrative Psychology

Integrative psychology looks carefully at psychological problems and feelings associated with them from different perspectives. It uses several tools to develop awareness about all the elements involved in an afflicting conflict.

Completely attuned to your individual situation, Integrative Psychology guides you therapeutically towards the understanding of your conflicts. It helps you accept your feelings and emotions and experience them lovingly.

Integrative Psychology as a Holistic approach teaches you to develop a compassionate attitude towards yourself, allowing you to sincerely experience what torments you and causes you pain. When you truly and honestly accept your inner experience, real healing begins.

Why Integrative Psychology?

Because Integrative psychology works holistically combining different therapeutic approaches. We humans are complex and diverse beings, and our mental processes are difficult to be observed, defined, and represented with our limited spoken language.

Words and concepts that we use to verbalize our inner experience, manage to explain only the surface of a problem. Therefore, we need more and varied ways to go within and collect as much data as possible in order to achieve total healing.

The therapeutic process always remains attuned to your personal therapy goals and is transparent and designed according to a recognisable structure. Depending on the therapy goals, therapy phase and progress, the focus of integrative psychology lies on:

  • Feeling (through) the inner and the physical
  • Healing trauma
  • Understanding one's personal journey
  • The analysis of a certain problem and/or symptom and recognising correlations
  • Developing or enlarging personal skills and capacities
  • Further developing latent talent and promoting personal strengths

Integrative psychotherapy assumes that each individual should receive a personalized treatment that can be flexibly adapted to his or her progress, where all aspects of the person are considered: body, mind, soul and environment.

Treatment range of the Integrative Psychology Practice

Within integrative psychology, there is room for research into the relationships within relationships, spirituality, natural science and cultural experiences and influences, which gives a much broader view of the personality, problems, and personal issues than conventional psychology alone.

In my practice for integrative psychology, I offer the following forms of therapy:

Kabbalah and Transpersonal Psychology

The psychology of consciousness and the journey of the Soul based on the recognition of the existence of a dimension to human nature greater than the individual. I integrate mind, body and spiritual wisdom into the therapy. The integration of this holistic approach gives a person the opportunity to embody personal transformation at a core level, achieving a holistic transformation.

Dance of the Soul

Dance Movement Therapy aims to awaken and restore the body from repressed unconscious complexes, so it becomes a healthy vessel to house the psyche and Soul, and get back in touch with emotions and feelings, promoting self-awareness, self-esteem, and mind & body balance.

Therapeutic meditation and breathwork

You learn more about inner conflicts in silent awareness. It allows painful thoughts and feelings to rise gently to the surface of consciousness, to be addressed and worked through in therapy.

Art Therapy

Art Therapy integrates the fields of Art and Psychology in a creative approach to psychological problems. A client will paint or draw her feelings, or sceneries that she/he wishes to include in the therapeutic process.

Stress & anxiety management

Using natural oils, pendulum, semi precious stones and the wisdom of the 72 Divine Names.

It is a natural therapeutic way to balance body, mind and Soul by reducing physical and emotional stressors.

Integrative Psychology, a beneficial loving method

From all forms of therapy that I offer, a personalized therapeutic treatment method is put together; aimed at developing or increasing conscious mental health. Which is in fact the designation for Integrative Psychology. This form of alternative therapy is a person-centred method in which there is room for deep analysis of subjective identity, analysis of dreams, dance-art therapy, Jungian archetypal symbology, breathing/relaxation techniques, and therapeutic meditation.

I graduated in psychology and am licensed in psychological sciences at a University of Chile. And further, I have studied at schools for Transpersonal Psychology, Kabbalah and Mysticism in many countries. At the moment I am studying a master's degree in kabbalah at the School of Kabbalah and Psychology in Barcelona and a master's degree in transpersonal therapy at the Institute of Transpersonal Studies in Ireland. My personal development goes hand in hand with my professional development, consequently I have never stopped training in areas that I know will be a contribution to myself and my clients.
